Tupac Alive: Lives In Banana Island, Lagos

Ever since his death in 1996, there have been numerous rumours that American rapper Tupac Shakur faked his death for an unknown reason and is still alive.

Well, the rumours may be right, after all as Tupac has been allegedly spotted in several locations across the U.S, even in parts of Cuba, and even with celebrities.

On the night of September 7, 1996, Shakur attended an event, the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing match with Suge Knight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and then afterwards was supposedly shot multiple times and he died six days later on September 13, 1996.

Shakur's body was reportedly cremated the next day, however, E.D.I. Mean claimed in an interview in 2014 that despite believing that the ashes were those of Shakur at the time, he later found that the ashes did not in fact belong to Shakur. His fifth album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory was released two months later.

Most recently, Tupac Shakur has been sighted in Banana Island, where he is believed to be living. Banana Island is Nigeria's most expensive residential area. It's an artificial island built on reclaimed land in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Tupac's neighbourhood is out of bounds except for top level government officials and unidentified persons in dark Cadillacs.
